Image Indexing

Scanned documents are indexed using state-of-the-art technology incorporating both configurable manual processes and automated intelligent character recognition techniques. Using Mitek’s DocXP Scanning Software Kestrel IDM can quickly configure a variety of production workflows in response to customer orders, and capture index information from the images themselves. These are then exportable to any database or EDMS of the customer’s chosing.

Alternatively, scanned documents can be attached as image files to corresponding index information contained in either the Kestrel’s DataLink Database Software or whatever alternative meta-data catalogue or database the client is using to interrogate and order data.

Most importantly, all scanned images are thoroughly quality control checked to ensure that they are as true a representation of the original as possible, and that their index records are completely accurate.
